From the 50's to present day, these are "Contemporary" or "Modern" fashions.  A lot of years are spanned herein, and who knows what fashions the future may bring!  Thankfully, some of the fashions faded out into history, but then again, the old sometimes becomes the new once more....... 

Our dolls are all porcelain, very carefully hand painted using china paints, fired many times, assembled, dressed and wigged. Clothing is manufactured of fine silks, cottons, exquisite laces, real and "faux" furs, etc. Custom dolls are available. See below.

Now Betty is a modern gal....she could be a teacher, a librarian, a secretary, a dinner patron, anything you want her to be.  She is sitting very quietly - perhaps listening to some wonderful conversaton.....Quietly dressed too in a pretty print dress with coordinating jacket over it and little wedgie shoes tucked gracefully in.  But don't let that demure look fool you, check out those eyes!

Stan is relaxing in a kitchen chair, while conversing with his friends who are gathered around the table.  OR he could be watching television or sitting on a couch.  He is most versatile. He is very cool, calm, and collected no matter where he is placed.  A nice addition to a dollhouse or roombox.

Eyleen, elegant in her red satin gown with her jewels  - ready for a night on the town - perhaps dinner and dancing at the Club.  Eyleen - a little exotic with her dark hair, and beautiful brown eyes.  As always she is all porcelain, approximately 5 1/2" tall, radiant with her jewelry.

Vijay is a 60's sort of guy - dressed in a dark brown wooly turtleneck sweater, brown cotton slacks, and loafers with brown/gold socks.  He sports his collage ring on his right hand, and is posed to stand by himself - his arms are gently posable.

Tiffany is a very modern woman wearing a fine taffeta silk suit with a turquoise silk blouse, fitted gloves and shoes - with a beige suede purse with gold trims! Her blond hair is short and styled, and her lovely blue eyes take on the hue of the turquoise in her blouse.

A pretty lady with flaming red hair is relaxing on her chaise lounge, Dreamer is a favorite.   Her pretty mules are decorated with "fur" trim, her nightgown is strapless of gold metallic fabric, and her robe is a sweet concoction of satin and pretty pink trims, with silk ribbon ties.  She comes with or without the chaise and she can also be posed quite elegantly on a sofa or chaise or even a bed of your own.

Madilyn is a very 60's type dollhouse lady dressed in a 60's outfit taken from an outfit that Jackie Kennedy wore....but colors have been changed to protect the innocent!  She has pretty red-brown hair, sparkling blue eyes, and it seems that she is on her way to go shopping.   Her dress is made of black and white striped cotton with cummerbund belt under a soft silky coat with those huge buttons that were so popular in the 60's.   Jewelry and a matching hat complete her look.  Her hat is trimmed with pink and white silk roses and greenery with a black silk ribbon bow.  She sports sling-back open-toed shoes and her purse is made of black leather.

Never fear, Russ is here to fix anything you need fixed!  Either working in the garden, inside the house doing much needed chores, on the roof, wherever you need a handyman, Russ is available!  He is able to be posed gently.  Russ's clothing is all cotton with leather work boots.  His overalls have deep pockets, a hammer holder, and a chest pocket with a pencil.   (Hammer and Rake not included)

The dolls on this page are made of porcelain clay slip and cast from fabulous commercial molds from tremenous artisans. They are hand painted using fine China Paints which are fired onto them.  Men are approximately 6" tall and women are from 5" to 5 3/4" inches tall. Their costumes range from high-quality silks and satins to simple linens or cottons. Some have faux or real fur trim. Metallic trims are made of gold or silver - fabric or metal. Some dolls have silver or gold jewelry fired on. All of the dolls are china painted and have spent many hours of firing time in the kiln.  Custom dolls (to your specifications) start at $135.00. Just specify the color of eyes, skin, hair, main costume color - and I will create whatever you wish!
