Dolls of
Many
Lands and
Cultures |
| |
The dolls on this page are dressed as authentically as possible as to their culture. From Egyptians to East Indians to Lithuanians to Africans, Asians and all in between. If you have any suggestion, please send me an e-mail. The dolls are not for children! Please visit my Site Map for more information. These dolls are poured from very fine porcelain clay slip into commercial molds - which I then do a little sculpting to make them unique and different one from the other. Truly they are one-of-a-kind dolls. My dolls are created in love - just for you. |

This doll represents Dr. Louis Leakey - the father of my professor of Physical Anthropology at UCLA from back in the early 60's. I have always admired the Leaky family for their contributions to the knowledge we hold today of the ancient races and civilizations. Come with me to other cultures and learn!
Note that some of the pictures are mouseover pictures - meaning that if you place your mouse on a particular photo, you will reveal more views of that particular doll. |

Estelle is ready for a night out, dressed in red/gold and waiting for the car to take her to a formal event. Her gown is accented with a black lace shawl, and has glints of red and gold in the top of her dress, and pure gold with red highlights in the skirt of her dress. Red rubies and golden beads form her necklace and earrings, with a fire red stone ring on her right hand, and a lovely diamond on her left. A red/gold fru fru is in her raven black hair - a perfect foil for her complexion and background. |
