Character Dolls

The dolls on
this page are representations of the characters
and the
costumes in the spellbinding saga called "Gone
With the Wind"
by Margaret Mitchell...... Following
the book's descriptions of the clothing, and
using the
colors and photos of movie stills and costumes,
we try to duplicate as closely as possible
the
clothing of those times. The romantic
theme of the book was painted against the
happenings in the real world at that point in our
history. You can lose yourself in the book
AND you can lose yourself in the movie as
well! Here the characters will be but
representations, but will tug at your memories of
how they looked. The costumes in the movie
were vast - some of which were created and never
worn. We will be incorporating some of those
beautiful fashions as well in the
future. Thanks to a friend who is an
avid collector of "Gone With the Wind"
trivia, we have multitudes of costume information,
photos, etc.
My dolls are created from love of this book, movie and other articles just for you! I hope you enjoy your
stroll down memory lane here! The dolls however, are not for children. Please visit my Site Map to see why.
Please note that if you pass your mouse over some of the photos, another photo of that particular doll will be shown with different views of it.
