Lana, a big star in the film industry, is walking the red carpet to see the first night of a new opera.  Her gown is a lovely turquoise with reddish highlights, silk, her shoes are matching with beaded trims and cuban heels and she has covered up with a faux fur stole.  What a night!  What a doll!

The lady in the mask arrives at the Masquerade.  She is ready to dance the night away in her checkered silk brocade underdress and her Duponi silk overdress with appropriate undies beneath.  She is a happy dancer, and carries her matching purse upon her arm.

Rowena, has arrived at the opera and is preparing to be seated.  Lara is dressed in a white velvet gown with train, silver trims and her fabulous jewels.  She is a lady from top to toe with her flaming red hair fashionably arranged and holding her silver clutch bag.  Her long white gloves add elegance and finishing to her appearance. This opera attendee has been sold, however, if you would like one similar, just contact me.  You would have your choice of colors, etc., and it would be a custom doll.

The dolls on this page are made of porcelain. Men are approximately 6" tall and women are from 5" to 5 3/4" inches tall. Their costumes range from high-quality silks and satins to simple linens or cottons. Some have faux or real fur trim. Metallic trims are made of gold or silver - fabric or metal. Some dolls have silver or gold jewelry fired on. All of the dolls are china painted and have spent many hours of firing time in the kiln.
