dolls on this page are made of porcelain clay or slip using commercial molds. These are one-of-a-kind dolls one different from the next. They are hand painted, hand dressed, and are quite unique. Men are approximately
6" tall and women are from 5" to 5 3/4" inches tall.
Their costumes range from high-quality silks and satins
to simple linens or cottons. Some have faux or real fur
trim. Metallic trims are made of gold or silver - fabric
or metal. Some dolls have silver or gold jewelry fired
on. All of the dolls are china painted and have spent
many hours of firing time in the kiln.
