Gladys is a cleaning lady beyond compare.  Dressed in her neat dress apron and sweater, dustcloth in onehand, mop in the other, Gladys is noted for her ability to do several chores at once.  Her boots are porcelain with lacings, a dishcloth over her shoulder.  Gladys is better than the world famous M Maids.....  Gladys received her name from a dear friend of mine from Canada, Corwin Cherwonka.  Corwin stated that this doll just "looked like a Glady should look."
